Bio
Chudy is an Argentine electronic artist and producer whose work traces an uncommon path: from early training in ancient and contemporary music to the development of a distinctive live electronic performance.
Born in Rosario in 1981 and raised in a humble environment, he began his artistic journey through film and vocal studies, specializing in early music and classical technique before moving to Buenos Aires to further his education.
His career evolved within Argentina’s independent scene, where he developed his work as a producer and performed extensively with different projects, touring across Argentina and Brazil. Following an intense period immersed in nightlife, he chose to redefine his path, initiating a personal and artistic shift that led him to Latin America.
Chudy began shaping his current live act format, combining live vocals, instruments, and electronic production in real time. This marked a turning point in his artistic identity, bringing him fully into the electronic music space.
Now based just outside Barcelona, he runs his own creative space, Visual Music Studio. From there, he produces his music and collaborates on projects connected to traditional and folk music from different parts of the world, blending these influences into a contemporary electronic framework.
His project is built around a one-man live act, where voice, instruments, and electronics converge in real time. His sound moves between house and afro-influenced rhythms, shaped by a strong melodic sensibility and subtle references to 80s aesthetics, resulting in elegant, hypnotic sets designed for the dancefloor.
Moving away from the traditional DJ format, Chudy’s approach emphasizes live performance and stage presence, positioning him within a new wave of electronic artists bringing musicianship back to the forefront.
